The nave and chancel windows are made of imported stained glass, the art work done by Jaco Art Glass Co. of St. Louis. The 18 foot windows of the chancel tell the story of the life of Christ in 14 pictures. Above the altar is the 13 foot art glass cross which symbolizes the visible elements of the Lord's Supper, with a chalice at the center of the cross. The cross basses on a shield which pictures the ancient Trinity symbol. The cross is flanked by the four evangelists' windows. There are three smaller Gothic windows to the north and the south of the chancel. These windows portray in fitting symbols the six chief parts of Christian doctrine. In the social room at the rear of the nave are the 4 major organization within the Lutheran Church, the Sunday School, the Walther League, the Layman's league, and the Women's Missionary League. The windows were completed in 1952 for a cost of $14,676. Today the windows are considered irreplaceable. (Thank you Gayle Christie for the photographs)
